Halloween and Fire Station

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
We had such a fun Halloween.  Hinckley dressed up as a Fireman and Edison was a Dalmation Dog! We had a party with friends, trick or treating at Burke's work, and a trunk or treat!  Hinckley came out with a loot of candy!

FIRE STATION
My Brother works with a woman whose husband is a fireman so he got it all set up for us to go visit!  Hinckley absolutely loved it!

Thanks for the GREAT tour of the Fire Station Fireman John!!  We had a Blast!!

Edison's 3 Month Pics...and a few more

We got a couple of them together--I love the personalities!!
This bottom one shows just how helpful Hinckley is when Edison's not happy:) Just LOVE those boys!
He is growing up just too fast!!

The Bishop's wife brought over this big box for Hinckley to play with and he loved it...it was his fire station :)

We haven't done many fall activities but we made these the other night with Tom and Nichole and they were delicious (found recipe on pinterest of course)!

Can't believe he is already 4 months!!  He is so much fun to be around and just makes everyone smile.

just a little of what we do

I would have a bazillion pictures if I tried to show every little thing so here are a few! We went with Tom and Nichole to see the new baby giraffe at the zoo.  It was so cute and tiny!  We were all sad Daddy couldn't come cause of work so we will have to go again!

Edison is just a little Chunky Monkey :).  I swear it happened over night.  He is so much fun and such a good baby!

Spending time as brothers in the firetruck Hinckley built and reading together :)
Hinckley helping Dad with a project for Mom
Then He was just too tired to stay awake any longer

Spending time with Dad...I just can't wait to see how they interact as everyone gets older!  It is so much fun to have two boys next to each other!

Hinckley is going to be a fireman for Halloween...doesn't the one of him running look like it came straight out of the Little Rascals Movie? I love that he has to wear it all the time!
I love his face in the mirror while Burke is cutting his hair!

Sorry I don't post very often but you get lots of pics when I do!:)

Playing Catch Up-Picture Overload

I haven't posted in a long time so I had no idea where to start so I guess it will be Edison's blessing day.  Everything went so well!  We were lucky enough to have most of our family here...missed the ones that couldn't be there though!

Family that came on the Bess side
The Grandkids (Newest Grandson to arrive in November)
 Everyone on the Goodwin side
The Grandkids (Newest Granddaughter to arrive in December)

 TWINNERS

Above:  Hinckley with his scooter.  We went to DI to look for some things that might work for Halloween costumes and he saw this and had to have it...I guess it's better for him to practice on one that has already been used than a brand new one.  You can't see it but there is a half of a horn on there.  It doesn't have the part you squeeze to make the horn sounds so Hinckley just pretends to squeeze it and then says "horn" every time he squeezes!  So cute!
Below: Grandma and Grandpa found a bunch of train tracks at a yard sale so we have plenty of tracks to make anything we want!  He loves them!

Above:  Burke and Edison.  Edison got real chubby real fast!  We were so amazed that we had to take a picture of his cute little rolls :).
Below: I put Edison in his car seat one morning to go out and he just kept smiling at me...so cute!
We went to the Zoo with Tom and Nichole (Nichole peeking out in the back there)...It is so fun to have some family close!

And YES he wears that hard hat EVERYWHERE...I guess it is better than some things :)

 PROJECTS
Haven't been doing too many for my own house or kids but it is fun to do something different and for gifts!
Above:  a pillow case for my niece that got baptized
Below:  For my niece who is turning 2 and having a "bugs" themed party
I helped my Sister-in-law who is having a girl make this.  It was a little challenging with the ruffles but we love how it turned out!!
Well I will try to do a little better but I hope you enjoyed the picture OVERLOAD!  We love having two boys and they just love each other too!
